Mit Le Van Bo (Hartz IV Möbel).
Kurs für Anfänger mit zwei linken Händen.
Kursgebühr: 90 Euro
Material: 36 Euro (Kiefer Leimholz, Pappel Sperrholz, FSC Zertifikat), ohne Lackfarbe, ist nicht in Kursgebühr enthalten. Bitte mitbringen. Ich schicke Euch nach der Anmeldung eine Mail mit der Schnittliste.
40 % der Kursgebühr kommt der Open Design City zugute, um den Erhalt und den Aufbau der Werkstatt zu fördern.
Bau Dir Deinen eigenen Kreuzberger Küchenstuhl (Entwurf Le Van Bo). Der Kreuzberg 36 Chair wurde für das Kreuzberger Theaterhaus HAU entworfen und wurde bereits vom Goethe Institut in China (Taiwan Design Expo) ausgestellt. Das Möbel eint viele Klassiker der Moderne, u.a. Jean Prouvé, Egon Eiermann und den Frankfurter Küchenstuhl.

Es könnte sein, dass Ihr nicht 100 %ig fertig werdet. Aber zumindest kann ich Euch die schwierigsten Handgriffe zeigen. Den Endschliff schafft ihr allein.

Hinweis: Wer lieber ein anderes Hartz IV Möbel bauen will, kann auch den "24 Euro Chair" bauen oder einen "Piscator Table", den Beta-Block oder den Neukoelln Desk. Das dürften wir an 2 Tagen auch schaffen. Das Siwo Sofa ist zu komplex und zu groß für diesen Workshop.

Le Van Bo ist Architekt und Erfinder der Hartz IV Möbel. Das ist ein soziales Designprojekt.

Lebensqualität für alle ist der Kerngedanke. Konstruieren statt konsumieren seine Philosophie. In der Volkshochschule Berlin hat der ehemalige Rapper und Graffitikünstler seine Leidenschaft zum Holzbau entdeckt. An nur einem Wochenende ist das erste Möbel entstanden, welches Le Van Bo ohne Vorkenntnisse aus einem Brett gebaut hat: Der 24 Euro Chair. Das war im Februar 2010. Mittlerweile haben sich eine komplette Wohnungsausstattung um den Sessel gruppiert. Heute begeistern sich Tausende weltweit für seine Idee, dass alle ein Bauhaus-inspiriertes Möbel haben darf, unabhängig vom Einkommen. Der Schlüssel liegt im Selbstbau. Von Zeit zu Zeit gibt Le Van Bo einen Workshop oder verwickelt mit spontanen Straßenworkshops auf öffentlichen Plätzen oder in U-Bahnhöfen Menschen in ein Gespräch. Das Kunst- und Gewerbemuseum Winterthur hat ein Hartz IV Möbel in die Sammlung aufgenommen, und das Internationale Design Zentrum hat den Kreuzberg 36 Chair zur Taiwan Design Expo in Taipeh 2010 ausgestellt.
